The World Blogger Championship of Online Poker PDF Print E-mail
Written by 72os Team
The World Blogger Championship of Online Poker is back!

Calling all bloggers - it’s time once again for the annual PokerStars World Blogger Championship of Online Poker! If you play poker and have your own blog, the 2008 WBCOOP is the perfect tournament series for you. This is the event that gives bloggers from across the globe the chance to face off against each other for FREE, win great prizes and battle for the coveted title!

Registration for WBCOOP will end December 20, 06:00 ET. To keep up to date with everything that is happening with the 2008 WBCOOP, including news and tournament reports from the seven event series, check out the PokerStars Blog.
More Ways to Win

This year we are giving you more chances than ever before to get in on the action. Simply register your blog and you can play in our Freeroll qualifiers, and be in with a shot at winning great prizes and WBCOOP Final seats. Make it to the Final and you’ll have the chance to play for a PokerStars Caribbean Adventure prize package worth $14,300 and European Poker Tour event packages worth $7,500. We’ll also be giving away free entries into our biggest online tournaments and Steps satellite tickets. In total, we’re paying out $100,000 worth of prizes! See below to find out more about what you can win.

The WBCOOP is open EXCLUSIVELY to anyone with an eligible blog site. Once you have registered, you can use your blog to tell all your readers that you’ll be playing in the event - and write a report afterwards about how you took it down! It doesn’t even matter if your blog isn’t about poker - you can still enter. We are running daily Freeroll qualifiers in a range of poker games - open to all registered and verified bloggers. If you’re new to poker, check out our Poker Games page to learn the rules and get some helpful tips.
How to Play

For your blog to be eligible, it must have been online for at least two months and updated on a regular basis. Blogs created specifically for this promotion, or that only have a few posts, will not be granted entry to WBCOOP. If you have been eligible in the past for WBCCOP but have not updated your blog on a regular basis since the last event, you will not be eligible to play. All decisions about eligibility rest with WBCOOP management and are final.

Visit the registration page to find out how to submit your blog for verification, and get your entry ticket to the freeroll qualifiers.
