Huge thanks to 72os / jsaw for arranging and organising the Sunday league, I only wished i'd found this earlier than season 13.
Sometimesplaying poker isn't about winning money, it's nice just to have a game with good players and have a laugh and joke along the way, plus learn a hell of a lot to boot.
Since season 15 finished, Sundays haven't been the same and now with the announcement of season 16 starting in 2 days on the 30th, excitement is building. From reading the forum, it's been a challenge finding a poker room, but settling on Jungle poker in the end. I've played there before and it's not a bad set up if memory serves me right. Not sure on the sit out removal with them, I hope it's there, but if not, beggars can't be choosers and will have to live with it.
Wonder why so many people register for freerolls and never show ? I can understand the odd one or two due to unforeseen circumstances, but in most freerolls it's a lot more than a few, so wonder what circumstances lead upto not showing up. Sitting out players definitely do make a difference to the dynamic of the table though, and how come it always seems that the only other guy playing on your table is sitting to your immediate left !
Anyway going off on a little tangent, so need to pull it back and wish everyone the best of luck for season 16. I certainly need it after a dismal performance in season 15, finishing out of the top 40, nothing seemed to go write, my aces and kings got cracked in the early mad phase, think I ran into "stinkytuna" as well on of the games, by golly was that guy lucky.
Season 14 was the best for me, my first full season and I think I finished in the top 20, and got 3rd in the final. Apart from that final table, I don't think i've ever actually made a final table yet in a league match, so that is my goal this time, at least one final table and top 40 finish.
