Well, after busting out in 11th place, I figured I'd put myself to work documenting tonights action; I was fortunate enough to look back at the screen the exact last moments that the tourney was being played and got a shot of the final hand. As mentioned, Pokerdog23 made another impressive win, I'll be looking for articles or forums on exactly how he keeps winning, perhaps do a little combing through his blog if he has made entries... I'm not sure as of this writing. Regardless Pokerdog, inquiring minds want to know! haha Keep up the good work, unless it's me on the other end of the table! Of course!
Dawgs1010 also made another impressive effort. He placed 5th last week, and this week rocked it steady all the way to third. Great show there imho. I was at his table for about a third of the tourney, and he played a really solid game.

 Finally I have some good news to post on season 18! We have a host: Absolute Poker. Everything is set to kick off on August 3rd at 7:00 PM EST. There will be only one change this season. For the Top 40 event there will be no cash prize up for grabs. Instead the winner will get a trophy. The $400 prize pool days that we were able to get seem to be over, but as many have post that was not what they played the league for anyways. We do ask that you support the league when you can by using our links for the sites, so we can get credit for the players we send to them.
What do you need to do before the season starts? You want to make sure your profile is up to date with the email address you check. Also you want to make sure your AP username is on your 72os Profile page along with the email address you used to sign up your account on AP.
To make it to the start of Season 18 we are going to have some small $2 buy-in events on Full Tilt Poker. These will start this Sunday, so I hope to see a bunch of you at the tables. |

 We hope everyone made it through a good holiday season and is having a great new years so far.
We have worked out a deal with Doyle's Room to host Season 17. They are updating their software and will not be ready to start the season till the first of February. So starting next Sunday Jan 13th, we will have a private tournament on Full Tilt Poker. These will be a small buy-in of $2.
